Application to be a Donor council member

Buffalo City TVET College call upon any person/company to be a Donor council member in terms of Section 10 (4) (d) of the CET ACT of 2006 during the 5 year period of the current council. 


Criteria: 


In terms of Section 10 (4) (d) of the CET ACT of 2006 the College needs one member or company representative with broad spectrum of competencies in business, finance, marketing, education, partnerships and fundraising. A traceable portfolio of evidence in form of recommendation letters and reference persons are a requirement. 


The incumbent must be registered with the South African Revenue Services and should show interests in advancing quality education. 


The incumbent must be experienced with variety of funding mechanisms that includes not limited to grants, technical assistance, private-public­ partnerships to name the few. 


Applicants are urge to submit a comprehensive proposal and a comprehensive CV, certified educational qualifications, ID copy and police clearance report for criminal records not older than 3 months.

The College reserves the right to conduct verification of information provided by the applicant. The College will invite the applicant for a presentation. 


Successful applicant will be notified as soon as the outcome of the appointment have been made. 


Please note that the successful candidate will be appointed as a Council member and the term will be concurrent with the period of BCC College Council, appointed for the five year period that is currently running.
