Tenders

Buffalo City TVET College is committed to a fair, transparent and competitive procurement process in line with Supply Chain Management (SCM) policy.

How We Procure

How We Advertise Tenders and RFQs

Buffalo City TVET College follows two distinct procurement routes: open tenders and Requests for Quotations (RFQs). All tenders are advertised in national and local newspapers to ensure equal opportunity and transparency for all prospective bidders. RFQs, by contrast, are not advertised publicly – they are sent directly to suppliers registered on the College’s Supplier Database.

Tenders

  • Advertised in national and local newspapers, in line with SCM policy
  • Bid documents are available for collection or download as stated in the advertisement
  • Only bids submitted before the stated closing date and time will be considered

Requests for Quotations (RFQs)

  • Not advertised publicly
  • Sent directly to suppliers registered on the College’s Supplier Database
  • Only registered suppliers in the relevant commodity category are invited to quote

Supplier Database Registration

Prospective service providers who wish to be considered for RFQs are encouraged to register on the College’s Supplier Database:
