REQUIREMENTS
Matric or NCV Level 4 with a recognised 3 year degree/diploma Communication/ Marketing/ Public Relations or equivalent any other relevant qualification;3-5 years' in Marketing and Communication environment; Knowledge of social media practice and channels; Understanding of the importance of brand guidelines, graphic design and applying across a range of channels ;Knowledge and understanding of stakeholder management; Knowledge of events managemen;t Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing; Knowledge and understanding of website maintenance; Knowledge of policies and governance environment of TVET Colleges including knowledge of the annual reporting requirements by the the Higher Education Institutions; Knowledgeof Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office; Analytical skills; the ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Ensure the provisioning of marketing, promotions and branding services; Ensure the provisioning of public relations and media liaison services; ensure the provision of photographic services and drafting of articles; Monitor college events and provide communication administration; regularly maintain the content, design and layout of the college website; the management of all human, financial and other resources in the unit; Arranging logistics for planning meetings; Strategic Planning; Strategic Performance Management ; Strategic Risk Management; Collaboration with all stakeholders; Conduct Market research; Analyse Industry and Business trends; Ensuring regulatory compliance with relevant related legislation, policies, guidelines , protocols and systems; Execute duties as and when delegated by the Principal.
