REQUIREMENTS

Matric or NCV L4 Certificate; with a recognised 3 year degree /diploma in Management Assistant or any relevant qualification; Relevant work experience will be an added advantage. Computer skill in MS Office, will be an added advantage (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Perform reception duties and assist visitors and student with queries; Answer the telephone and take messages; Control access to the Administration Centre; Control visitors register; Provide clients with brochures, application forms, bursary forms and fee structure (client service: provide information and regulate clients); Assist in maintaining of presentations, marketing material & communications accessible to relevant stakeholders internally and externally; Assist in coordinating the production and distribution of various communications for internal and external stakeholders; Proof-reading of advertisements; Assist in ensuring the proper use of logo and guidelines; Assist in organising and administering of campaigns and events; Assist in maintaining and updating weekly and monthly records of all marketing activities; Provide administrative and marketing support to Marketing Manager; Record keeping; Diverse administrative functions such as photocopying, faxing and typing of documents; All other duties as instructed by the Manager: Marketing; Must be prepared to serve, if and when the need arises, at any of the college campuses or administration centre.

 

COMPETENCIES:

Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Power Point; Knowledge of internet and e-mail and good typing skills; Fluency in written and spoken English; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Good organisational, administration and planning skills; Ability to work effectively under pressure and without immediate supervision; Problem solving skills; Willingness to work after hours, as and when required.
