REQUIREMENTS:

 

Matric or NCV L4 Certificate; with a recognised 3 year degree /diploma in Management Assistant or any relevant qualification ; Solid Secretarial skills, ability to prioritise and co-ordinate work; Positive attitude, with the ability and willingness to learn

 

COMPETENCIES:

 

Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; Good organisational, administration and planning skills; Advanced computer skills: MS Excel, MS Word, Financial package and Power Point; Knowledge of internet and e-mail; Good typing skills; Report writing skills; Sound inter personal, problem solving and analytical skills; Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision; Willingness to work after hours when required; Time management skills

 

DUTIES:

 

Effective administration of the Data Capturing; Receive and process completed forms from students; Check and correctness of information submitted; Capture / modify students information on ITS (Registration and bursary application); Compile a spreadsheet of students information processed; Verify student information; Capture attendance register weekly; Filling of bursary application forms; Assist students with signing of SoP’s required by NSFAS; Assist with the activation of Sbux; Assist with the reconciliation of allowances issued to students; Attend to student enquiries; Any other relevant duties as delegated by the supervisor
